Calling all musical elves and Christmas enthusiasts! The most enchanting time of the year, Christmas, is just around the corner, and Nicosia, our beloved capital, is gearing up to embrace the holiday spirit like never before.

The Nicosia Tourism Board is embarking on a special mission to create the ultimate XMAS VIBES, and we want YOU to be an integral part of this festive magic. We are actively seeking talented bands to bring the joy of live street music to the heart of Nicosia during this cherished holiday season.

Keep in mind for Participation:
To ensure a seamless and festive experience for all, please review the following rules and regulations for participation:
1. Performance Dates and Times:
- 📅The street performances will take place on one of the dates between December 22nd to December 27th, 2023. The exact performance dates within this range will be announced.
- 🕒Performance Times: There are three available time slots:
- 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
- 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
- 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM
- 🎤Bands are required to perform for a minimum of 90 minutes during one of the specified time slots on one of the following dates:
- December 22nd
- December 23rd
- December 24th
- December 26th
- December 27th
2. Compensation 💰:
- For your talent and contribution to the festive atmosphere, the Nicosia Tourism Board offers compensation of up to €450 per performance. **No exceptions can be applied.
- Bands are responsible for any additional expenses related to their performance, including equipment and transportation.
3. Performance Locations:
- The performance locations will be around Stasikratous street and the commercial triangle of Nicosia ** Exact dates are TBA.
4. Sound and Equipment:
- Bands are responsible for providing their own musical instruments, amplifiers, and any other equipment necessary for their performance.
- Sound checks and equipment setup must be completed promptly within the allocated time slot to ensure a smooth performance.
5. Festive Attire:
- We encourage bands to embrace the holiday spirit by dressing in festive attire that complements the Christmas theme. Santa hats, reindeer antlers, and other holiday accessories are welcomed.
6. Conduct and Behavior:
- Bands are expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism and courteous behavior throughout their performance.
- Any inappropriate or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate termination of the performance.
7. Promotion and Social Media:
- Bands are encouraged to promote their participation on their social media platforms and official websites to engage their audience and build excitement for the event.
**By participating in the Nicosia Christmas Extravaganza, bands agree to comply with these rules and regulations.
The Nicosia Tourism Board reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to the schedule and locations as needed to ensure the success of the event.
