The distinction “Creative Friendly Destination” from the Creative Tourism Network was won by the city of Nicosia. The certification was awarded to the President of the Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP) of the Nicosia Region, Theodoros Krigou, by the Director of the Creative Tourism Network, Caroline Couret, during a press conference, held on Thursday, January 27, at the CyENS Center of Excellence.
At the press conference, the actions of ETAP Nicosia for the development of creative tourism, the European program Cult CreaTE, as well as the new campaign of ETAP Nicosia entitled “ngage” were presented. In his speech, the President of ETAP, Theodoros Krigou, referred to the company’s ongoing actions, as well as those to be done in the direction of the development of creative and cultural tourism in Nicosia.
