HOTHREAT Project X Nicosia Tourism Board 

Nicosia Tourism Board proudly announces its participation in the HOTHREAT project. 

The HOTHREAT consortium fosters cooperation among private and public entities, experts, end-users, security companies, and law enforcement agencies for leading the way in security in the hospitality sector. 

Its objective is to enhance the safety of EU member states by ensuring the security of hotels and conference centers in the context of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats. 

The project will develop tailor-made measures for CBRN including, recommendations for prevention, protection and response procedures and equipment, a multiservice communication model, programmes for VIP visits, cleaning services, food defence, epidemiology enquire and CBRN emergency application for mobile devices integrated with AR and training materials. A series of piloting and large-scale exercises will ensure the high quality of the solutions and the project’s sustainability. 

The project is led by the University of Lodz in collaboration with 18 other significant partners across Europe and in total 3,277,228 project budget.
