IndusTour is an Interreg Europe project launched in May 2025 running until July 2029, aimed at diversifying and strengthening tourism policies through the development of industrial tourism. It brings together six regional/local authorities from Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Poland, and Serbia to explore how visiting operational, decommissioned, or planned industrial sites can become a year-round authentic experience. Over the course of three years, the partners will analyse current conditions, collect and share good practices, develop improved policies and frameworks, foster regional stakeholder ecosystems, and integrate industrial heritage and present industrial activity more strongly into public policy. The project hopes to boost regional attractiveness and resilience, enhance SME support, job creation, and position the partner regions as leaders in sustainable industrial tourism.
