EU Projects – Hothreat

Introduction

HOTHREAT is a project focused on enhancing protection measures in hotels and conference centers against CBRNe threats (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and explosive) by developing prevention, response, and consequence-management mechanisms tailored to their specific vulnerabilities. It aims to bridge gaps in preparedness via vulnerability analyses, best practices, guidelines for equipment and procedures, a multi-service communication model, training materials (including AR-enabled tools), and large-scale exercises with end-user involvement. Ultimately, HOTHREAT seeks to elevate safety standards for guests, staff, and facilities by equipping the hospitality sector to anticipate, respond to, and recover from emerging CBRNe risks.
