Nicosia Tourism Board Showcases GreenHost Project at Luxury Hospitality Conference 2026

The Nicosia Tourism Board took part in the Luxury Hospitality Conference, held at the University of Nicosia on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, in the UNESCO Amphitheater.

The event brought together industry leaders, hotel executives, innovators, and academics for a valuable exchange on emerging trends in luxury hospitality.

During the conference, the Nicosia Tourism Board presented the European GreenHost CoVE Project, a collaborative initiative designed to support the green and digital transition of the tourism and hospitality sector. The project aims to enhance skills across the industry by integrating sustainability and digital competencies into both education and professional development.

A key highlight was the introduction of the GreenHost Platform, a European hub connecting students, professionals, educators, and industry stakeholders. The platform offers access to specialized training resources and practical tools, encourages networking within an international community, and provides opportunities for jobs and internships, including hybrid formats.

Registration for the GreenHost Platform is free and available at:

Through its participation, the Nicosia Tourism Board engaged with students and emerging professionals, encouraging them to join the platform and benefit from its opportunities.

The Nicosia Tourism Board also extends its sincere thanks to the University of Nicosia for hosting the event and facilitating this important discussion on the future of hospitality.
