On Tuesday, 14 October 2025, the Nicosia Tourism Board proudly showcased the Cypriot capital’s culinary soul at the Taste Nicosia – European Regions Week Tasting Event, held at Square Brussels, Grand Hall 1. And what an evening it was! 🎉
From the moment the doors opened, the Nicosia stand was buzzing — hundreds of visitors gathered to savour authentic bites and aromas that told the story of Cyprus’s capital in the most delicious way possible. 😋 Many even declared Taste Nicosia the highlight of the evening, praising its creativity, presentation, and the joy of discovering Nicosia through food. 🍷
At the heart of this culinary celebration was Cypriot Gastronomy Chef Marilena Ioannidou 👩🍳, who curated a stunning menu blending tradition, sustainability, and artistry. Her dishes didn’t just taste incredible — they reflected a city that honours its roots while looking confidently toward the future. 🌿💫
The tasting took place under this year’s European Week of Regions and Cities theme:
