        "rendered": "<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nicosia, 3 October 2025 \u2013 The Powerhouse (Pallia Elektriki)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nicosia Tourism Board recently hosted an inspiring event at <em>The Powerhouse (Pallia Elektriki)<\/em> to present <strong>INDUSTOUR \u2013 Visiting Industrial Companies and Sites as a Growing Lever to Diversify Tourism Policies<\/strong>, a European initiative dedicated to advancing industrial tourism across the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bringing together six partners from France, the Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia, Denmark, and Cyprus, <strong>INDUSTOUR<\/strong> seeks to turn Europe\u2019s factories, workshops, and production sites into vibrant destinations for visitors eager to experience authentic craftsmanship, innovation, and industrial heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project\u2019s partner network includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes (France)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Moravian-Silesian Region (Czech Republic)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u0141\u00f3dzkie Region (Poland)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>European Affairs and Development Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (Serbia)<\/strong>, with the Secretariat for Economy and Tourism of Vojvodina as an associated partner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nicosia Tourism Board (Cyprus)<\/strong>, with the Municipality of Nicosia as an associated partner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Municipality of T\u00f8nder (Denmark)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The event brought together a diverse group of local stakeholders, including representatives from the <strong>Municipality of Nicosia<\/strong>, the <strong>Cyprus Motorcycle Museum<\/strong>, the <strong>Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI)<\/strong>, the <strong>University of Nicosia<\/strong>, the <strong>Cyprus Handicraft Service<\/strong>, the <strong>Cyprus Tourist Guides Association<\/strong>, the <strong>Nicosia Chamber of Commerce<\/strong>, the <strong>Municipality of Agia Varvara<\/strong>, and the <strong>Leventis Municipal Museum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the presentation, the NTB team introduced the project\u2019s main objectives, operational framework, and four-year plan. A lively discussion followed, focusing on how <strong>INDUSTOUR<\/strong> can contribute to shaping Nicosia\u2019s industrial tourism strategy \u2014 by identifying key heritage sites, strengthening public\u2013private collaboration, and showcasing local craftsmanship and manufacturing traditions as valuable tourism assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting set the stage for a shared path toward sustainable growth, highlighting Nicosia\u2019s creative and industrial identity while positioning the city as a leading example of industrial tourism in the Mediterranean region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the project moves forward, the <strong>Nicosia Tourism Board<\/strong> will continue working closely with its European partners to implement new initiatives that foster cultural discovery, innovation,
