On June 27, 2024, ten Cypriot agri-food producers were honored at the 10th “Gastronomos” Quality Awards at the old Nicosia Town Hall. Organized by Kathimerini, the awards celebrate Cyprus’s rich food heritage. The “Gastronomos” team evaluated over 80 products through seven blind tastings.
The awards recognized producers for innovation and quality, including Kostas Tomazou for Lunza, Aparthenasa for olive oil, and Zambartas Winery for Koumandaria.
Sponsored by Bank of Cyprus, OPAP, Epic, and Nicosia Municipality, the event highlighted the island’s culinary excellence.
