Nicosia Tourism Board and The Landmark Nicosia Join Forces to Elevate the Capital’s Visitor Experience

The Nicosia Tourism Board (ETAP) has taken another important step in strengthening the connection between the tourism sector and the city’s hospitality professionals.

In collaboration with The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection, the Nicosia Tourism Board organized a special themed tour of the walled city, offering members of the hotel’s team an opportunity to rediscover Nicosia through its cultural, historical, and gastronomic identity.

Exploring the Heart of the City

During the guided tour, participants had the chance to walk through the old city’s narrow streets and experience the charm of Nicosia’s rich heritage. The initiative helped the team of The Landmark Nicosia gain a deeper understanding of the capital’s distinctive character — from its centuries-old landmarks to its vibrant contemporary culture.

A Taste of Nicosia

The experience concluded with a lunch at one of Nicosia’s most renowned restaurants, highlighting the #TasteNicosia campaign — the Nicosia Tourism Board’s initiative to showcase the capital’s diverse and authentic culinary identity.

During the lunch, the Board also presented the Nicosia Guide – a comprehensive resource designed to empower front-line hospitality professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to offer authentic, informed, and high-quality experiences to visitors.

A Catalyst for Collaboration

Through initiatives like this, the Nicosia Tourism Board reaffirms its role as a catalyst for collaboration between institutions, hotels, and tourism professionals. The organization continues to promote a unified, authentic, and sustainable tourism identity for the capital — one that celebrates its unique cultural blend, creativity, and warmth.

Welcoming The Landmark Nicosia

The Nicosia Tourism Board also warmly welcomes the renewed The Landmark Nicosia to the city’s tourism landscape. As the first and only hotel in Cyprus to join the prestigious Autograph Collection by Marriott, The Landmark Nicosia represents a new era of hospitality in the capital.

Owned by MHV Mediterranean Hospitality Venture, this five-star city business hotel honors the legacy of its iconic building — a place intertwined with Cyprus’ political and cultural history. The property features 265 rooms and 18 suites, several dining options (including Cyprus’ first Sumosan), indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, hair salon, gym, tennis and padel courts, ballroom, conference facilities, art gallery, and luxury boutiques.

Located next to the impressive Landmark Nicosia Towers and surrounded by a lush 10,000 m² park, the hotel offers guests a refined urban experience that blends elegance, comfort, and local character.

A Shared Vision for Nicosia

Together, the Nicosia Tourism Board and The Landmark Nicosia are setting a new benchmark for tourism collaboration in the capital. Their shared vision is to elevate Nicosia as a destination of high value and meaningful experiences, where every visitor can connect with the city’s authenticity, culture, and charm.
