The Nicosia Tourism Development and Region (ETAP) has a meeting with Nicosia hoteliers, with the aim of strengthening their cooperation and sharing joint strategy.
The meeting took place on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the Nicosia ETAP offices. Attending the meeting were EBE Nicosia, PASYXE as well as the Nicosia Hotel Managers.
ETAP recorded the concerns and suggestions of hoteliers as well as suggestions for improving the tourist product offered by Nicosia while raising priorities and timetables for the implementation of these actions.
Among other things, the prospects of tourism for Nicosia were discussed, which referred to the promotion and enhancement of professional, conference and medical tourism. Particular emphasis was placed on the prospects for the development of wedding tourism in Nicosia, which is one of the priorities set by ETAP Nicosia.
Other issues discussed were the integration of hotel units into Nicosia’s new rebranding and the promotion of ETAP actions, the preparation of special attraction packages of visitors as well as the training of staff on the promotion and promotion of Nicosia.
Finally, it was decided to establish communication between the hoteliers and the ETAP with the most regular meetings. The next meeting will take place next November.
