The GreenSET consortium gathered in Heraklion, Crete, on 20–21 May 2026 for its Third Steering Committee Meeting, bringing together partners from across the Euro-MED region to review progress and plan the next phase of the project.
Discussions focused on the successful completion of the first pilot round involving nearly 30 tourism SMEs, including the Nicosia pilot centred on a perfume experience inspired by the city’s identity and heritage. Partners also exchanged feedback, reviewed results, and prepared for the launch of the second piloting phase, which will train Business Support Organisations to apply and transfer the MEDSSIM methodology across the Mediterranean.
The meeting marked an important milestone in GreenSET’s mission to promote sustainable tourism innovation and strengthen regional cooperation.
