On April 10th, the \u0395\u03a4\u0391\u03a0 \u039b\u03b5\u03c5\u03ba\u03c9\u03c3\u03af\u03b1\u03c2<\/strong> proudly hosted a dissemination event for the HOTHREAT \u2013 Tailored CBRNe Protection Measures for Hotels and Conference Centers<\/strong> project, in close collaboration with the Center for Social Innovation (CSI)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This important EU-funded initiative<\/strong> aims to enhance the hospitality sector\u2019s resilience against CBRNe threats<\/strong> (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive), making our tourism infrastructure safer and more prepared for emerging challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udece\ufe0f The event gathered representatives from local hotels, tourism stakeholders, and civil protection authorities<\/strong>, sparking valuable discussions about safety, resilience, and the pressing training needs for frontline staff working in busy tourist destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were honored by the presence of the \u03a5\u03a6\u03a5\u03a0\u039f\u03a5\u03a1\u0393\u0395\u0399\u039f \u03a4\u039f\u03a5\u03a1\u0399\u03a3\u039c\u039f\u03a5<\/strong>, whose warm welcome speech set the tone for a productive day. Special thanks also go to the Cyprus Police<\/strong> and the Cyprus Fire Service<\/strong> for their insightful presentations and steadfast support in building emergency preparedness within the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
