Nicosia Tourism Board proudly announces its participation in the HOTHREAT project.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HOTHREAT consortium fosters cooperation among private and public entities, experts, end-users, security companies, and law enforcement agencies for leading the way in security in the hospitality sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its objective is to enhance the safety of EU member states by ensuring the security of hotels and conference centers in the context of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear<\/strong><\/em> (<\/em>CBRN) threats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project will develop tailor-made measures for CBRN including, recommendations for prevention, protection and response procedures and equipment, a multiservice communication model, programmes for VIP visits, cleaning services, food defence, epidemiology enquire and CBRN emergency application for mobile devices integrated with AR and training materials. A series of piloting and large-scale exercises will ensure the high quality of the solutions and the project’s sustainability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is led by the University of Lodz in collaboration with 18 other significant partners across Europe and in total 3,277,228 project budget. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
