Successful Completion of the Food Zone Project

The Nicosia Tourism Board, as one of the main partners of the Food Zone project, is delighted to announce the successful completion of the initiative! 🎉

The project concluded with a final transnational meeting on 18–19 March 2025 in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, hosted by Eurakom.

After productive sessions at the Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale, we spent a beautiful afternoon in Wimereux visiting a local artisan biscuit maker. 🍪

We also toured the Criée and the logistical platform at the port of Boulogne, where we learned about daily fish market operations and seafood logistics. 🐟

Additionally, the group was introduced to the “Mr.Goodfish” initiative, promoting sustainable seafood consumption.

This final gathering followed a previous important meeting held in Nicosia on 3 December 2024.

Over the past few years, our dedicated team has worked hard to support producers and food businesses, helping to integrate them into the tourism ecosystem across Spain, France, Slovenia, Portugal, Cyprus, and Montenegro.

Although this marks the end of the official project, many new collaborations and initiatives are already on the horizon. Stay tuned! 🧨🤩
